How to request appointment:

Please email ghpadvising@ucsd.edu to schedule an appointment, and please include the following:

  • Name, PID, and a brief description of what you'd like to discuss.

  • 3 appointment times that work for you.

  • Whether you prefer a Zoom or an in-person appointment.

Appointment options:

  • Remote Zoom appointments:

    • Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PST or 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. PST.

  • In-person appointments:

    • We offer in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PST and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. PST.

Which advisor should I see?

Undergraduate academic advising at UC San Diego is shared by two sets of advisors - College and Major Advisors.

Your college advisor will provide you with general academic support, assist you with questions that you may have regarding college general education requirements, university requirements, IGETC and TAG, writing courses, graduation, and policy questions. Your Global Health Major Academic Advisor is available to provide advice and answers to questions about the Undergraduate Program in Global Health.
