Resources:

On-campus Academic Employment

Once you accept your admissions offer, you will be eligible to apply for on campus academic positions.

In addition to your salary, employment of at least 25% as a GSR, TA, or Reader will qualify students for a Tuition and Fee Remission.

Once accepted, students can begin applying for open positions through ASES.

Admissions Offers

The program may have limited funds at its disposal to create financial packages for prospective incoming graduate students.
  • These funds are administered and disbursed at the discretion of the admissions committee. Students will be notified if/how much financial support they will receive by the program with an official Admissions Offer Letter (this is sent out after the admissions offer letter from the Grad Division).

Fellowships

The UC San Diego Graduate Division provides resources for finding fellowships for graduate students. More information is available on their financial support page.

Additionally, please review our global health specific fellowship and scholarship resources found here.

Conference Travel Funding

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) created a Travel Grant program to award graduate and professional students grants of up to $300 for in-state and up to $500 for out-of-state travel to conferences where you will present your own professional work. More details here.
